Map of Kalte and the Lastlands

This is a piece of cartographic fan art I created to show my appreciation for the Lone Wolf gamebook series. Joe Dever's Lone Wolf was, alongside the Fighting Fantasy series, my gateway into the world of tabletop role-playing games. Gary Chalk's evocative art and maps sparked my interest in fantasy art and cartography. This seemed like a fitting tribute since I also play the 2016 Lone Wolf Adventure Game with my family.

The layout and sketch were done digitally. A printout was made of the finalized sketch and used as an underlay with a light pad while inking.
